Over the past twenty years…
distinct bodies of work have emerged from a creative process that is largely intuitive. I am a clay worker. From the beginning, I have been drawn to sculpting the human head and the vessel—forms that allow me to explore the threshold between the physical and the immaterial.
My work moves between figure, vessel, and abstraction. I have never attempted to seamlessly connect one body of work to the next; instead, I follow ideas as they surface from different parts of the mind. This approach has led me through distinct stylistic shifts. What remains constant is a deep engagement with process.
At its center, my work explores the void—not as emptiness, but as a charged interior space. Working with clay becomes a way to approach that space, where fragmentation, silence, and presence reveal unseen dimensions of experience.
